Pre-Purchase Inspection
Thanks to the internet, you can find just about any car you desire for sale on-line somewhere. Unfortunately, these vehicles are sometimes misrepresented, and it is awfully expensive and disappointing to find that out after you have made a financial commitment.
If you live outside southwestern Ontario, we can inspect the vehicle you wish to purchase here. We will perform a multi-point visual inspection, looking for any defects or hidden damage. We also will verify maintenance history and provide a written report.
If the vehicle is not represented 100% accurately, we will advise you of that, so you can make an educated decision about whether or not to proceed with the purchase. It may give you leverage in negotiating a better price, or you may decide to walk away from the deal altogether.
Insurance Claim Dispute Resolution
If you feel you are being “lowballed” by your insurer in the event of a total loss, we can help. In the case of a dispute over value, your insurer may ask that you hire an independent appraiser to provide a professional opinion. In these cases, we will personally inspect, document, research and provide an independent, unbiased opinion of the Actual Cash Value (ACV) of your vehicle at the time of the loss. If required, we can talk directly to your adjuster to answer any questions they may have. We have over 25 years of experience in this process.
You may discover that your insurance company is indeed being fair, or you may be able to support your position that the ACV is higher than what they are offering. In these cases, you will be paid a higher amount to settle your claim.
If necessary, we will testify in court to support our findings. Most insurers would rather settle with you than incur the time and expense of going to court, especially when you have an expert witness on your side. An hourly rate applies in these situations.

Personal properties should be appraised to protect your interests in the settlement of your bankruptcy or divorce. Antique, Classic or Used car appraisals along with boats, RVs etc. should be appraised. The value of your cars will then be counted as assets that will be divided per the terms outlined in your financial settlement.
